Story of Jack and Sally
Voted as the cutest couple of any toys ever, Jack and Sally, the 7 inch plush toys from Halloween Town, form the take with wherever the wind takes you toys and are ideal for any environment.
The story of Jack and Sally is about two totally unique characters…in love!
Jack Skellington, a jealous troll who happens to be the King of Halloween town, is a very eccentric, extroverted and always eager to please character; a trait which gets him into trouble when he Kidnaps Santa in his quest to bring the Christmas cheer to his town, much to the trepidation and unbelief of his town folk.
Sally on the other hand, is a shy stuffed pale ragged doll with detachable limbs stuffed with fall leaves. She leads a very sheltered life under lock and key, thanks to the watchful eagle eyes of Dr Finkelstein, her creator and Halloween Town’s resident mad scientist!
Despite this isolation, Sally is very restless and, in this restlessness, discovers that she shares a unique characteristic with Jack Skellington, – the desire for something better in her life!
Undeterred, Sally also discovers that, apart from sharing a deep desire for something bigger and grander in hers and Jack’s lives, that she has a secret crush on our Pumpkin Patch King! The two refer to each other as “friends”, though Jack seems unaware of Sally’s true feelings for him, as she is too shy to make them known to him other than through her sweet actions.
Sally acts as the good conscience to Jack, warning him of the dire consequences of kidnapping Santa!
So, does Jack fall in love with Sally and they end up living happily ever after?
That, sadly, is something you’ll need to discover by watching the remastered digital animation, Nightmare before Christmas which, in essence, is the whole point of the movie; that it is a musical whose lyrics make up this classic and timeless story!
